RegGenie’s Registry Defragmentation re-organizes the internal structure of your registry resulting in better system performance.  The Analyze function determines if your registry needs defragmentation.

To start the defragmentation process, follow the steps below:

  1. Launch RegGenie

  2. Click on “Registry Defrag.”


  3. Click on “Analyze” to determine if your registry needs defragmented.


  4. Once analysis is complete, click on “Defrag Now” to backup you registry.


  5. After the registry is backed up, you will see a prompt stating that the defragmentation will run next time Windows starts.


  6. Restart your computer. You will see the defrag process (shown below) run before Windows loads.
